Our client a thriving Events Private Members Club , is now looking for a Cellar Assistant.

The ideal Cellar Assistant will be someone with Bartender or Wine Waiter/Waitress previous experience with good numeracy skills.
The Cellar Assistant will work 50% of his / her time in the Cellar placing orders, Cellar stock control and preparing the drinks for events.
The other 50% of the Cellar Assistant will be operational and assist Managers with setting up bars, receptions, running events in capacity of lead Wine Waiter.
Its essential the Cellar Assistant has excellent customer service skills.
The Cellar team consists of a Cellar Supervisor and Cellar Assistant, and the previous 2 people employed have now progressed to Events Manager roles.
Salary on offer is £28,000 per year and does not include any tips or service charge. They do not charge service charge to clients, and all tips across all departments get paid into a fund that gets then evenly distributed amongst all employees every Christmas. We are talking few hundred pounds.
In terms of benefits those would include:
Generous holiday every year approx. 2 weeks Christmas break, 10 days Easter Break and a full calendar month of August all fully paid, department shuts down for those periods

Flexible rotas 5 out of 7, but we are accommodating across the team, trying to be flexible, overtime is not too plentiful, keeping it around 40-45h per week normally, as the company policy is to ensure a good work-life balance.
Taxis home if shift occasionally finishes after 11.30pm
