The Role

What will you be doing?

  • Oversee brand marketing strategy for the UK market, educating sales and marketing teams on full suite of products, initiatives and partnerships
  • Partner with global brand marketing team to localize offerings around global programs & events for the UK market
  • Identify areas of opportunity where our UK titles can grow in client base, relevance, and revenue including content & creative partnerships
  • Work closely with editorial and commercial leadership team on revenue-driving programming for local tentpole moments including:

    • Aggregating sales intelligence to drive program strategy
    • Establishing strategy & guardrails for branded/bespoke offerings
    • Building and evangelising sales materials
    • Attending internal brainstorms and external client pitches to help shape partnerships when warranted
    • Communicating programming updates
  • Identify creative opportunities by understanding our audiences, the competitive landscape, and industry trends to help differentiate us from competitors
  • Consult in brainstorms and work with category-based teams to marry advertiser initiatives with creative concepts that are authentic to brand ethos
  • Spearhead weekly meetings and daily interactions with internal stakeholders to make sure editorially-led revenue requests are in alignment with brand voice & values and vetted (when necessary)
  • Evangelise editorial programs and products internally and externally
  • Develop proactive opportunities to draw endemic and non-endemic advertising partners to the brand across all platforms
  • Manage and mentor Brand Marketing Associate
