Job Title : Credit Control Officer

Reporting to : Manager

Hours of Work : 34.5hrs per week (Alternative Friday Evenings)

Closing Date : 12noon on 2nd August 2024

General Scope of the Role

The Credit Control Officer will be responsible for the implementation of the credit union policies and procedures. You will work in conjunction with the Credit Control Committee to minimise the number of member accounts in arrears. You will regularly engage with our members through face-to-face meetings, telephone, and online communications to provide the highest quality service and advice. You will also be required to liaise with external organisations and provide monthly management information to the Board of Directors on all aspects of collections and bad debt control.

Main Purpose of the Job

Responsible for managing all aspects of bad debt recovery and supporting other operational processes diligently, in a timely and accurate manner, and in line with WBR Credit Union policy, procedure, and regulatory requirements.
