Hours of Work: 37 per week
Location: Newry (Greenbank Industrial Estate)
Length of Contract: Permanent
Reports to: Credit Control Manager

Main Responsibilities and Duties
- Deciding on credit and payment terms for new and existing debtors
- Responsibility for cash collections within terms
- Compile weekly receipts forecasts
- Compile and act upon debtors aged listing reports
- Apply and review credit insurance cover as required
- Report on bad debts and debtor days
- Be able to understand and deliver information from our accounting system.
- Responding to queries by our Sales team and customers via phone and e mail
- Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with all our customers
- Chase outstanding customer debts
- Create new customer accounts
- Accounts reconciliations, generate invoices
- Liaise with other offices Globally and other internal teams locally to ensure efficient order flows
The above list is not exhaustive and is mainly a guideline of some of the duties undertaken
Essential Criteria
- 2+ years previous credit control experience working in a finance department or similar would be an advantage
- Previous experience of dealing with a large customer base and working in a fast moving and complex environment
- Highly motivated with the ability to work in a team as well as individually
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exhibit excellent organisational skills and attention to detail along with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Possess problem solving skills, and using these skills when decision making
- Good IT skills with previous experience of Excel, Word and Outlook
- Have a proactive approach to work and look to embrace Unilin Values
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience in a commercial environment
- IT skills to include previous working knowledge of SAP
- Advanced level Excel skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs with strong capabilities within Excel.
