The Role

Carnival UK’s Learning Delivery Manager is responsible for development and deployment of programmes and initiatives to support and provide the skills and behaviours required for both fleet and shore employees. Ensuring the content is aligned to our learning offer and supports corporate values and required expectations and behaviours

  • Training Delivery; Approximately half the week will be spent delivering our Carnival UK programmes and initiatives to colleagues, managers and leaders across the business
  • Effectively coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure ownership and contracting is deliberately/consciously managed and applied.
  • Ensure that projects are assessed and that a clear and robust project plan is developed and followed. Plans should include all elements of the training cycle (TNA, design, deliver, evaluate) and include key gates and check-in points with stakeholders as well as a clear communications plan. Liaise with and input into learning governance group
  • Contribute to design and development of programmes, initiatives and learning frameworks. Translate learning requirements and desired outcomes into programme content and structure. Apply and integrate corporate values, learning design principles and ‘leadership-at-all-levels’ into structure of all programmes.

Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK07 and is offered on a full time, permanent basis, with hybrid working in our Southampton office, a minimum of 3 days per week.

  • Be an effective communicator both verbally and writing
  • Be able to effectively manage stakeholders
