Primary Care Clinical Learning Environment Lead

This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Thames Valley and Wessex (TVW) Primary Care School and respective Training Hubs.
The role is key to shaping and supporting the development of a multi-professional Primary Care workforce to deliver an extended range of specialist and quality clinical services to meet the needs of our patients through Training Hubs.
You will work within the TVW Primary Care School and respective Integrated Care System (ICS) Training Hubs to ensure the delivery of an integrated workforce across a spectrum of those supporting healthcare provision in Primary Care.
You will have responsibility for the promotion, co-ordination, provision and management of multi-professional educational activities within the Training Hubs. They will provide leadership to deliver the TVW Primary Care School requirements in support of recruitment and retention initiatives at ICS level.

The post holder will work closely with colleagues to develop Training Hub maturity to deliver out of hospital care through education and training for our multi professional workforce. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring operational delivery of NHS England (NHSE) requirements and associated Primary Care workforce programmes and projects across health and care.
In addition, the post holder will have responsibility as part of a regional NHSE South East Primary Care Team working closely with other leads and managers regionally and nationally to reduce variation, build consistency and ensure a quality learning experience.
The successful post holder will be expected to have experience of education in a community or Primary Care setting.
You will represent the Primary Care Department and will be expected to be a positive advocate for NHSE at all times. You will promote leadership that inspires, motivates, and empowers all staff whilst demonstrating the values of the NHS.

Applicants will commence at the bottom of Band 8a with a full-time starting salary of £50,952, with a pay step increase after 5 years’ service.
