J.P. Morgan's Liquidity & Account Solutions ("L&AS") - within the Commercial & Investment Bank - works with global clients that present complex cash management needs and operate across multiple countries, currencies, and legal entities, including multi-national corporations, high-growth technology companies, commercial banks, non-bank financial institutions, central banks and broker dealers. Our end-to-end solutions combine Physical, Notional, and Virtual Solution capabilities that enable our clients to achieve visibility, control and optimization of working capital and Third-Party Money ("3PM")
The EMEA Account & Virtual Solutions Product Manager in the Liquidity & Account Solutions Team is accountable for driving and delivering on the product strategy for physical and virtual account solutions, product commercialization and the day to day management of the products and profit and loss (P&L). This role provides the opportunity to collaborate with various teams dealing with critical strategic pillars within Account Solutions, supporting the creation of new Account solutions, utilising new technologies such as J.P. Morgan's GLASS Micro Services.
As the Product Manager, you will need to ensure the product solution is fit for purpose and operating in line with all market and regulatory requirements, whilst ensuring the day to day programs and operations are effectively managed. You will collaborate extensively with Sales, Service, Treasury, Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance and Legal.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with driving the strategic direction of Account Solutions for Virtual Solutions while using insights into latest market trends around client cash management requirements and collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Work with global stakeholders across, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Client Service, Technology to define core functionality and features.
- Gather feedback on product positioning, competitors and market developments, whilst commercialising our products and services in support of our Sales and Service teams.
- Manage day-to-day requests from Sales and Service to help them best support our clients. This will require becoming the "go-to" expert for all matters impacting the Account Solutions product, with particular focus on Virtual Solutions and 3PM
- Work closely with functional partners, pre and post implementation to ensure new product functionalities are delivered as per specified business requirements.
- Collaborate to innovate ways to expand or combine existing products into new solutions.
- Work closely with functional partners in Risk, Legal and Compliance across EMEA to ensure new regulations are fully understood and acted upon efficiently and in a timely manner. Ensure risks and impact by segment are fully appreciated and documented appropriately. Ensure additional controls are in place where needed and that Crisis management processes are in place.
- Proactively contribute to regular product risk and compliance reviews.
- Work with functional partners in operations and technology to achieve minimization of manual processes and activities.
- Contribute to maintenance of Know Your Product (KYP) document.
- Manage data and the global coordination & reconciliation of global account data
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Banking knowledge
- Advanced knowledge of the product development lifecycle, design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to implement product lifecycle activities, including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- Ability to develop viable strategies to grow the overall business with this client set, as well as take pragmatic steps to execute such strategies
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills; innovative thinking and the ability to digest complex regulations and legal documentation is a must
- Self-starter with solid networking and interpersonal capabilities, with proven ability to influence stakeholders
- Ability to navigate across large organizations to get things done and broker information across the firm; capable of forming sound partnerships and work in environments where there are multiple, overlapping stakeholders
- Solid background in presenting and communicating to senior stakeholders is required
- Organized, self-motivated and able to work in collaborative team environment
- Attention to detail is critical
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience with Treasury Services and Liquidity Solutions
- Experience in product / project / program management preferred
- Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel skills; comfort with data analysis, financials, and Business Objects / Tableau preferred
