About Our Client

The client is a medium sized FMCG business who deals in import and export. They are based in North West London and are looking to fill this position asap.

Job Description

The key responsibilities will include but not be limited to-

  • Organise all transport out of the company
  • Ensure that the best possible prices and terms are negotiated with transport companies
  • Book in deliveries and record accordingly
  • Ensure databases, spreadsheets are all regularly updated
  • Check and process transport related invoices
  • Organise sending of parcels and samples
  • Ensure accuracy of quantities received/ shipped and reconcile with stock take
  • Monitor and maintain stock in warehouse and ensure constant supply is retained

The Successful Applicant

  • Have transport experience in the UK
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Be resolution orientated
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, word and office
  • A positive "can-do" attitude
