Job Title: Lead Data Analyst Location: Devon (2 days in the office - this is not fully remote role)
As a Data Leader, you will be responsible for evolving our data infrastructure and analytics, creating next-generation self-service data tools for our customers. You will manage a small team of skilled analysts, maintaining legacy systems (Excel, VBA, PowerPoint) while transitioning to the new Azure platform. Your expertise in building and developing new analytical data structures will be crucial in extracting valuable insights from our data. You will play a key role in setting the vision for data use, providing coaching and mentorship to upskill your team, and continuously improving our data capabilities.


Lead the development of the new data warehouse and new data structures.
Create new analytical insights, setting the vision for data utilization.
Provide coaching and mentorship to junior team members.
Role model best practice techniques for analytics, including code review, optimization, critical thinking, data validation, and version control.
Continuously improve and expand our data capabilities.


Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Senior Data Analyst/Scientist role.
Demonstrable experience with data modeling (dimensional modeling), warehousing, processing (MapReduce), and transformation techniques.
Expertise in SQL and at least one analytical programming language (Python preferred, R or Julia).
Advocate of IAC principles and best practice coding (GIT, SVN).
Ability to optimize workflows and analysis for MapReduce processing.
Proficiency with BI software (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense).
Familiarity with working in an agile team is preferred.
