Data Integration Specialist, Devon Up to £45k DOE
Our client, a reputable business, are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join their team on an initial 6-12 month fixed-term contract. You will be joining the client’s established development team to support on a critical cloud migration project. Your role will be pivotal in addressing key bottlenecks in their data integration processes, specifically focusing on connecting cloud-based services using OData and REST endpoints. You will work closely with the lead developer to design and implement seamless data integrations between on-premise systems and cloud-hosted applications.
Responsibilities of the Data Integration Specialist include:
Design, develop, and implement data integration solutions across cloud-based and on-premise systems.
Utilize OData, REST, and other APIs to connect systems and ensure seamless data flow.
Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain existing integrations to ensure high performance and reliability.
Requirements of the Data Integration Specialist include:
Proven experience in data integration, with a focus on OData and REST.
Strong knowledge of data transformation, data schemas, and ETL processes.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
Experience with an object-oriented programming language such as C# or Java is beneficial but not essential.
As a Data Integration Specialist, you’ll have the chance to work on exciting projects that make a real impact, while enjoying the benefits of working for a reputable business. Our client is also open to considering office, hybrid or remote based employment for the right candidate, but individuals should be in the Southwest area to be able to attend offices for meetings if required. Our client would also consider contractors should that be an individual’s preference.
