The role is essential and a pivotal part of the daily functioning and smooth running of the business. Thus, it is imperative that the successful candidate has a can-do attitude, excellent administration experience and can hit the ground running. The vacancy is temporary initially, but there is potential for it to be made permanent dependent on performance and business needs.
Your new roleEnsuring that subcontractor inductions are conducted and verified as and when required.Updating the drawing register when drawings are issued and notified the managers of the new drawings.Creating new project folders as required on the system.Updating documents revisions by the approval of the managing director.Ordering of plant, updating plant log and ensuring that the plant that is hired is allocated to a subcontractor and on the site list.Stationary and PPE ordering, monitoring the levels within the office and ordering as and when required.Managing vehicle insurance and tax renewals.Collecting and distributing post daily.Completing all additional administration duties as and when required.What you'll need to succeedExceptional Administration experience and organisational skills.A construction-based background is desirable but not essential.A can-do attitude and willingness to learn.Ability to competently complete filing, minute taking and maintaining registers and logs.Proficient with Microsoft Packages.Logical thinker and being able to work efficiently in order to meet deadlines.Good maths ability.
