Location: Home/ Cambridge office based, with National travel on a regular basis.

Viridian Solar is a market leader of integrated solar in the UK. After developing and launching an industry-first DC connector enclosure safety product, the ArcBox, Viridian Solar seeks someone special to drive the product forward across the domestic and commercial solar industries.
We seek a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team and lead the sales efforts for our ArcBox product within the solar industry. The Sales Manager will develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and build strong relationships with customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets for ArcBox
Identify new business opportunities and target markets to expand the company's customer base
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders in the solar industry
Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with product offerings
Provide market feedback and insights to inform product development and marketing campaigns
Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making
Give quarterly updates on sales progress and opportunities
Tasks
Visits to builders/ installers/ wholesalers
Outbound calling to existing and new client list
Finding new opportunities in our sector
Being active on social media platforms
Making sure CRM systems are kept up to date
Working with UK wholesalers to open more opportunities
National travel
Collaborating with members of the sales team
Giving quarterly updates on sales progress and opportunities
Attributes
Self-starting, showing initiative to close sales
Experience closing specification product deals within the solar industry is highly desirable
Organised and accurate
Ability to work well on your own and in a team
Good communicator – verbal and written word
Confident to make outgoing telephone calls
Computer literate
Presentable
Approachable, sociable and a reliable team player
Solar knowledge would be an advantage
Fluent in English speaking
Based in the United Kingdom
