Are you an IT professional looking for temporary work in the Cheltenham area? Do you have 1st/2nd line support experience?
We are working with a prominent agency that provides a range of IT solutions for their clients and are currently seeking a motivated and skilled 1st/2nd Line Support candidate to join the IT team on a temporary basis.
You will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
THE DAY TO DAY:
Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, cloud services and
Manage and resolve incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
Assist with user account management, including password resets and access permissions.
Maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions in the helpdesk system.
Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or specialised teams when necessary.
Assist with IT projects and deployments as needed.
WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE:
Proven experience in a 1st Line/Helpdesk Role
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with cloud solutions and cyber security.
Experience with Active Directory and user account management.
Familiarity with network troubleshooting and basic network configurations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL) are a plus.
Hours are Monday - Friday and paying £13 - 15 per hour.
