Payroll Administrator

6m FTC (£29k - £34k)

Cirencester (Hybrid)

Our client are looking for a Payroll admin to join them on a interim basis. As a Finance Contractor, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, pensions, and employee benefits.

Responsibilities:

  1. Processing monthly payroll, including starters, leavers, sick pay, and parental leave.
  2. Reconciling pension contributions for all University schemes.
  3. Ensuring compliance with PAYE and pension scheme requirements, including timely reporting to HMRC.
  4. Acting as the main point of contact for pension queries and liaising with providers.
  5. Leading on tax year end processing and reporting.
  6. Updating payroll procedures manual to ensure clarity and accuracy.
  7. Undertaking any other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience in payroll processing and pensions administration.
  • Strong knowledge of PAYE and pension scheme regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and data protection.
