Part-Time Financial Controller

Permanent

£Prince Personnel are working with a growing business who are looking for a part-time Financial Controller on a permanent basis. You will form an integral part of the senior leadership team to develop, deliver and exceed business performance, strategy and direction. You must be able and willing to get hands dirty and support the finance team with day-to-day tasks as well as be a leader within the business.

Manage all finance operations including, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition

* Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances

* Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements

* Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

* Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

* Develop financial strategies

* Oversee the operations of the finance department, including the design of an organizational structure and recruiting roles as required to prepare the business for future success

* Oversee the company's issuance of financial information

* Report financial results to the board of directors

* Direct Line Management responsibilities with the Finance and HR team (2 direct reports) and wider management responsibilities as a senior leader within the business

The successful candidate must be fully qualified with a proven track record in leading a finance function within a smaller business or a finance management role within a medium to large company. You must have a commercial not just numbers mindset and be a strategic thinker.
