HR Officer - (12 month minimum) Contract - Shropshire

L & C Consulting are recruiting with one of the areas most respected and secure organisations for a new generalist, HR Advisor / HR Officer to join them on an initial 12-month, contract basis. Working closely with the HR Director and as part of the HR team, this is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who is looking for an opportunity to work in a well-supported, professional environment with flexibility and a great supporting package. The role requires travel around Shropshire as well as working from home.

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

- Provide Line Managers with professional HR support in areas including absence management, occupational health, anti-discriminatory matters, training support, safeguarding etc
- KPI data management
- Full recruitment support, through to and including onboarding new starters
- HR projects

To be considered for this excellent opportunity, you will be an experienced HR professional ideally with a relevant HR related Degree or CIPD qualifications.

You’ll have a professional outlook and approach to your work, be well presented, have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and have the ability to multi-task. You will also be IT literate (Ms Word & Excel) and have the ability to work unsupervised at times.

The role is covering multiple sites in the region, so you MUST have a valid UK drivers licence (milage is paid) but you will also have the option to work part of the week from home.

The role comes with a salary of £35,000 plus a great package and training & development support and opportunities.

The Shrewsbury site will ideally require you to have your own transport but would then be commutable from Telford, Market Drayton, Whitchurch, Newtown, Oswestry, Ironbridge, Bridgnorth, Newport, Shifnal etc
