We are now seeking a dedicated SEN TA with a specialism in SEMH to join our team and support our students on this important journey. This is a friendly, diverse, and well-resourced primary school located in the heart of Ealing. Are you a compassionate and patient Teaching Assistant with a passion for making a real difference in children’s lives? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity waiting for you in a wonderful school in Ealing As an SEN TA with Specialism in SEMH, you will be a crucial member of our support team, working closely with students across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. You’ll have the opportunity to work one-on-one with pupils who have SEMH needs, helping them manage their emotions, navigate social situations, and access the curriculum. You’ll play a key role in promoting positive behavior and supporting children’s emotional well-being, helping them to engage fully in their learning. Experience working with children with SEMH needs (preferred but not essential).
• The ability to build strong, supportive relationships with pupils and staff.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Supporting the emotional and behavioral needs of pupils to ensure their well-being.
• Collaborating with teaching staff and the SENCO to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
