To code GBS invoices for processing on the purchase ledger daily. To assist in producing payments packs to suppliers and ad hoc payments.
To complete regular Supplier statement reconciliations, investigate queries and chase for any missing invoices.
To undertake ad hoc tasks as required from time to time by the purchase ledger supervisor to assist in the general duties of the department.
To assist the Treasury department when necessary.

To have experience in purchase ledger duties, with good knowledge of purchase ledger invoice processing and payments. (To have knowledge of internal controls in a purchase ledger. (Computerised accounting purchase-ledger experience, not essential.
Sound working knowledge of MS Windows-based software packages, especially Excel, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, electronic mail, and the internet.
