Sustainability Manager – Leeds/Manchester Office

A leading sustainability consultancy, Carbon.Climate.Certified, is seeking a highly motivated Sustainability Manager to join their team. This boutique firm, already well-established in Leeds, is expanding its reach by opening a new office in Manchester and is looking for an ambitious professional to lead this exciting venture.

About the Role:

In this role, you will report directly to the Director, focusing on BREEAM assessments, social value, and circular economy projects. You will be involved in a variety of impactful projects, including ESG Strategy implementation and whole-life carbon assessments, working closely with high-profile clients to reduce their environmental footprint.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A strong understanding of BREEAM, Whole Life Carbon, and sustainability modelling.
  • A self-starter with a genuine passion for sustainability and environmental impact within the built environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ambition, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience within a UK based Engineering Consultancy.
  • A background in Environmental/Sustainability disciplines, ideally with memberships in IEMA, CIBSE, or BRE. This experience could come from a boutique sustainability or multi disciplinary engineering consultancy.
