Description

This is a part-time, temporary, fully remote opportunity for a Sustainability Coordinator.


As a Sustainability Coordinator you will be responsible for delivering a range of tasks including; gathering and analysing data, writing reports, calculating emissions, researching, managing actions and attending client meetings.


The candidate will be expected to have intermediate to advanced Excel skills, and be able to gather and present data accurately and efficiently from a range of sources.


Experience & Competencies


  •    Experience in Sustainability Reporting and with carbon emissions calculations
  •    Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  •    Ability to analyse data and present findings in a clear and structured manner.
  •    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  •    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
  •    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  •    Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  •    Comfortable with both independent and team-based work.


Key Responsibilities


  • Data Collection & Analysis: Gather and organise environmental data, including energy consumption, waste management, water usage, fleet reports, fuel reports, business travel records and other sustainability metrics. Assist in calculating greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions using recognised standards and protocols (e.g., GHG Protocol, ISO 14064).
  • Report Writing: Prepare sustainability reports, presentations, and documentation, including progress reports for internal teams and clients. Assist in the development of sustainability-related case studies and success stories. Draft carbon reduction plans, environmental impact assessments and corporate social responsibility (CSR) reports.
  • Actions Management: Be proactive in supporting the client to complete actions in a timely manner, where possible completing the action on their behalf or working with them to complete.
  • Client Engagement: Participate in client meetings to present sustainability data, findings, and potential improvement areas. Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information for sustainability assessments and to help them achieve their environmental goals.
  • Other: Provide support to PCML colleagues as and when required. Participate in regular team meetings. Keep up to date with legislation, regulations, and client requirements.
