We have a fantastic opportunity for an Head of Compliance Monitoring to join our Group Compliance team here at Domestic & General. They will be responsible for overseeing and managing the design and delivery of a risk based annual Compliance Monitoring Plan and programme of ongoing Customer Outcomes Testing.
The role holder will work closely with business stakeholders as part of the wider ‘3 lines of defence’ providing compliance assurance against a defined framework and processes, reporting MI into various Committees and Board.
They will develop monitoring processes and controls, conduct regular assessments, and analyse data to identify potential compliance issues.

Leading a team managing the design and delivery of the risk-based Compliance Monitoring framework, ensuring key compliance risks are evaluated across the business and issues are adequately controlled or escalated in order that the business meets its objectives and regulatory expectations.
Ensuring regulatory risks are managed, reported and escalated as appropriate.
Deliver high quality risk-based assurance reviews which identify, and address root causes of issues arising and mitigates emerging Conduct Risk.
Collaborate with the business to make recommendations for improvement that will address the root causes of issues identified and balance the regulatory risk and commercial objectives.
Maintain current knowledge of laws and regulations, across Financial Services, keeping abreast of projected and recent changes, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
In depth knowledge of Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) practices within the General Insurance sector.
Business and Commercial awareness as well having good capabilities of risk management.
