Cambridge Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom Four Squared Recruitment Full time €100,000 - €140,000

Vice President of Client Solutions

£100-140k

Cambridge/Hybrid

We are recruiting for our specialist tech start-up clients, with a clear mission statement; you will be joining a business who are using their product to assist some of the biggest global brands in their pathway to becoming Net Zero.

We are looking for a VP of Client Solutions to join our client’s mission of assisting businesses in managing their exposure and response to the dual nature-climate crisis – the two biggest systemic threats facing the economy.

The company

Their SaaS solutions assist companies in generating climate-related compliance analytics, charting their path to Net Zero, and conducting scientifically grounded cost-benefit comparisons of emission reduction strategies against associated risks. We boast a blue-chip client base, featuring an expanding roster of globally recognized brands. The credibility of our solutions is underpinned by our deep academic heritage, tracing back to the Business School at the University of Cambridge, and our close affiliations with the Cambridge Centre for Risk Studies.

Having secured Series B funding in early 2023, our business is rapidly advancing toward the next round of investment. Their offerings include competitive base salary, stock options, remote and flexible work arrangements, and a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Our clients are offering:

  • An unparalleled climate-tech platform, counting numerous international well-known brands and companies, as clients.
  • Opportunity for personal development
  • A multidisciplinary, diverse and passionate team of richly talented individuals
  • Excellent benefits, including bonus scheme and private medical insurance.
  • The opportunity to be part of something meaningful in the race to net zero.
  • Commitment to delivery with good time management, decision-making, and planning skills.
  • Must possess strong attention to detail, multi-tasking, and organisational abilities.

The role

The Client Solutions team truly are the face of the business, they work closely with all parts of the organisation, to secure and retain clients, ensuring the commercial projects are completed with success and customer satisfaction.

Along with the software platform offering; the team also provides clients with advisory services, offering expert perspectives and delivering focused sustainability-related projects. Comprising Client Success and Support, Client Implementation and Advisory, and Client Education, the team assists our clients in deriving business value from using our products. They aim to demonstrate such value that clients choose to renew or expand their annual contracts.

Reporting to the CFO this role assumes overall responsibility for driving the strategy of the Client Solutions function. Internally, the role provides strategic direction to the team, aligning their functions toward common goals.

As a member of the senior leadership team, this position also includes membership in key, respected groups. This role is crucial to ensure the company’s strategic direction aligns with client sentiment.

Skills

Have proven experience leading client teams in a SaaS environment, including client success, onboarding, and implementation.

Track record in managing and improving upon multi- stakeholder client relationships.

Excel when manging a team in a fast paced, unpredictable environment.

It would be viewed as greatly advantageous if you have a background in climate tech.

It would be desirable to have experience working and leading a team within a business that operates both a software and service offering.
