The role:

We are looking for a motivated and skilled In-House Sales Executive to join our growing solar team. This role involves handling hot leads, providing solar quotations, and designing solar solutions for residential (B2C) customers over the phone. You will play a critical role in helping homeowners make the switch to solar by guiding them through the process and ensuring they receive the best possible solution for their energy needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound hot leads (no cold calling) from interested customers seeking solar energy solutions.
  • Provide accurate and tailored solar quotations over the phone based on customer needs and energy usage.
  • Design solar systems using specialized software to create optimal energy solutions for residential properties.
  • Explain the benefits of solar energy systems, including cost savings, environmental impact, and long-term value.
  • Educate customers on financing options, government incentives, and the overall installation process.
  • Follow up with potential clients to answer additional questions and assist them in moving forward with their solar purchase.
  • Collaborate with the installation team to ensure smooth communication between the customer and technical staff.
  • Maintain CRM records and ensure all customer interactions and sales pipeline updates are accurately recorded.
  • Achieve sales targets through excellent customer service and proactive sales management.

Key skills / Experience:

  • Proven experience in a direct sales role.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for customers.
  • Experience in solar design and quotation software is highly desirable but not essential—training will be provided.
  • Sales-driven mindset with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple leads and follow-ups simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for renewable energy and the desire to contribute to a more sustainable future.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and other relevant sales software.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to providing a high level of customer service.
