Your new company A reputable leading gaming company based in Surrey is looking for a Systems Implementation Specialist to join the Finance team on a temporary basis to deliver the rollout of Planful - their chosen reporting and dashboard tool for business KPIs and financial data. Your new role You will be solely responsible for running the existing project on a day-to-day basis, including liaising with our external support consultants and executing all reporting requirements identified by the relevant internal teams. The role will be focused on building, testing and publishing reports in Planful to remove reliance on our current Excel-based suite and bring all reporting 'online'. This project will also leading the build of our business-critical budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes into Planful (from scratch) Day-to-day project management, including liaising with the external consultants (Verostone) and managing their input to the project
Lead the workstream on financial planning - collaborate with Finance, Operations and Development teams to redefine existing budget and forecast requirements and then identify and execute the best approach for taking this from current excel-based files to a fully operational, automated Planful solution.
Support and initiate further project workstreams, including our complicated workforce planning processes and the onboarding of other APIs, such as our HR IS (Cezanne)
Create and maintain technical documentation related to the Planful implementation and configuration
Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation
Provide support and training to end-users including training the Finance team to be superusers
Demonstrable experience in general systems implementation and configuration - Planful experience is a huge plus

Solid financial understanding to support report reconciliation processes, especially around budgeting and forecasting methodologies
Effective communication and collaboration abilities including proven project management capabilities and the ability to translate stakeholder feedback into tangible actions and improvements
