In this position, you will manage the seasonal placement and follow-through of finished goods for a particular category(ies), in a manner congruent with the supply chain objectives: delivering quality product, on time and at the right price.
Advise vendors of seasonal buying/production calendar, unit plans & negotiate minimums as applicable, working with Managers for guidance on setting objectives for the season and negotiating any challenges.
Manage seasonal product pass-off to local sourcing office, as needed.
Partner with manager to finalize prices & margin, providing seasonal price analyses across vendors and product categories.
Participate in vendor performance analysis each season.
Partner with quality assurance to resolve quality issues as needed.
Communicate best working practises, changes to existing practises or key seasonal information, to vendors.
Manage team efficiency through monitoring workload & prioritisation.
Partner with manager on seasonal counter-sourcing needs such as vendors, pricing, raw materials etc.
Established capability in building strong relationships across functions, promoting collaboration and synergy.
Proficient in MS Office suite—Excel, Word, PowerPoint—with a solid understanding of retail math.
Desirable familiarity with SAP/PLM systems.
Italian language preferred and willingness to travel if necessary.
