As the Group Head of Fleet, you will be at the forefront of our operational logistics, responsible for overseeing the management of our extensive fleet across the UK. You will lead the fleet management strategy, integrating the latest technologies and environmental practices to drive performance, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Develop and implement a comprehensive fleet management strategy, including vehicle procurement, maintenance, and disposal.
Lead on sustainability initiatives to minimise the environmental impact of our fleet operations.
Manage fleet-related budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the fleet meets operational requirements.
Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and company standards and policies.
Monitor and report on fleet performance metrics, using data to drive continuous improvement.
Lead, motivate, and develop the fleet management team.
Proven experience in a senior fleet management role, ideally within a multi-site operation.
Extensive knowledge of fleet management best practices, including sustainability and environmental regulations.
Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and reducing costs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Full UK driving licence.
