Are you looking to progress your HR career in a creative and supportive environment? We are looking for someone with an open and collaborative approach to join our People team.

You must be able to build relationships really easily across the business and work proactively. A passion for delivering exceptional People support is a must and discretion and confidentiality is paramount.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Employee relations lead

  • Coach and guide business leads with all employee relations matters and change projects
  • Manage all employee performance review processes including probationary periods
  • Advise on flexible working applications and manage applications and meetings to ensure we are achieving our ambition as a People focused agency
  • Lead on all Family friendly leave consultations with key responsibility for assessing and communicating our approaches in a clear and engaging way whilst also focusing on our returners experience.

Diversity and Inclusion

  • Act as the central support on agency wide Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives and approach
  • Support on DEI priorities driving adoption and implementation of actions across the agencies to support an inclusive culture and increased representation
  • Creation and presentation of quarterly People reports including quarterly DEI overview and statistics

Proactive Advising

  • Research and present People analytics for business areas
  • Be proactive with finding People solutions for the business and ensuring we strive to deliver best practice at all times
  • Build relationships with key people within your business areas by being on hand to help and support with all People issues

People Projects

  • Support on People team projects that will have an impact in key strategic priority areas such as DE&I and Wellbeing.
  • Leading on the agency wide engagement survey process and supporting subsequent action planning across the group.

People Plans and Processes

  • Review, revise and implement new policies and procedures where applicable, in line with legislative changes whilst ensuring the team and the wider business are informed of any updates where necessary
  • Assist in managing the annual performance review process for business areas constantly reviewing and ensuring we can adapt to fit strategic needs
  • Partner with People Operations Specialist to ensure seamless delivery of People processes

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Ability to build trusted relationships and demonstrate expertise across a broad range of HR topics
  • Proven experience at People Advisor level, ideally in communications or media but this is not essential
  • Track record of supporting on successful People initiatives and projects
  • Proven experience of working within in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, working on own initiative and supporting businesses through transformation
  • Ability to pick up new systems quickly
  • Ability to communicate sensitively and effectively both verbally and in writing with a wide range of people
  • Ability to prioritise work and deal with competing or conflicting demands/ needs and interests in an organised and methodical manner
