**Position Summary**

Our People Partner role is an exciting opportunity, where you will work closely with various areas across Nestle UK&I Corporate Functions and Business Categories. Aiming to provide expert HR support, guidance, and governance. This is a key role in ensuring a first-class HR service is provided to the business. The role provides strategic and operational HR support and coaching to the Business Categories and Corporate Functions, alongside activities such as the co-ordination and execution of the Marker People Plan. This role will provide the flexibility and autonomy of getting to the heart of people issues, working to develop fit for purpose solutions with a continuous improvement mentality.

**A day in the life of a People Partner**

The People Partner role provided an opportunity to collaborate with and act as a trusted People Partner in order to empower managers across Nestle UK&I, which will include Engagement, Performance & Talent Management, and Employee Relations. You’ll need to be pro-active in resolving challenging and complex situations, continually driving best practice, and ensuring compliance with all company procedures, policies, and employment legislation. Working with a wider team of People Partners to deliver an outstanding HR service.

**You will**:

- Support the successful execution of the HR strategy across Category Businesses and corporate functions, including leading on transformation initiatives
- Develop relevant market people plans initiative to support the business priorities
- Act as a key point of contact for any employee relations issues that arise supporting leaders to ensure the appropriate resolution is achieved in a timely manner
- Ensure our performance and talent management activities are understood, embedded and delivered, to enable our people to successfully deliver against the business’ goals
- Be a key driver in upskilling our people managers capability specifically around our people’s development enabling everybody to be the very best that they can be
- Work with the wider HR team and People Partner team to develop our HR practices and processes
- Develop capability to ensure our people understand the HR model we work within and are able to efficiently access the solutions they need with ease
- Shape the culture to align with Nestlé goals and initiatives through supporting and coaching Line managers in their implementation of core people processes.
- Lead the promotion of an inclusive culture that is safe, productive, empowering, and equitable.

We operate with a centralised employee services team and centre of excellence so liaising with central HR employees will also be a key part of your role. There’s no getting away from the fact that this is a demanding and challenging role, but if you’re looking for somewhere where you can contribute to tangible, sustainable results, then this could be the place for you.

**What will make you successful?**

Your career so far will demonstrate a track record within operational and /or commercial HR with a strong knowledge of core HR processes such as performance management, talent management, recruitment and resourcing, employee relations, employment law, and organisational change. You will have a proven track record of working within an HR role working proactively to deliver tangible outcomes that make a real difference to the business. You will need to have personal gravitas, a collaborative, relationship led approach and a pragmatic ‘can do’ mindset in order to be successful in this role, along with the ability to influence with integrity and emotional intelligence.
