Proofpoint is looking for a Business Development Leader to enable the team to scale in line with company growth plans. Reporting to the Director of Business Development (EMEA), you will manage and grow a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs), delivering quality opportunities to the Sales team to drive new business pipeline.
Hire & train BDRs with a focus on delivering quality sales opportunities that progress to closed won business.
Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Drift and 6Sense
Liaise with marketing on upcoming campaigns, lead flow & quality, to ensure performance consistency.
Maintain a strong alignment with sales on GTM strategies, BDR performance and pipeline acceleration.
Report on team and individual metrics, providing recommendations to enhance processes and performance.
A team player with a positive attitude & cross-functional management skills
Experienced Manager or Team Leader, with passion for training, coaching, mentoring, and developing talent.
Experience of hiring, training, and managing BDR teams to a high standard
Fluent in English, and German languages is essential. Any additional languages are a plus.
