Qualifications: QTS, PGCE, English Degree

Job Duties:
  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to students in KS3 and KS4
  • Manage classroom activities and student behaviour effectively
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive learning environment
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Degree in English or related field
Education:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in English or relevant subject
Experience:
  • Prior experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 levels
  • Demonstrated ability in classroom management and lesson delivery
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and assessment techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate students in the learning process
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional training or certifications in English language teaching
  • Experience working with diverse student populations
Working Conditions:
  • Full-time position with regular school hours
  • Work primarily in a classroom setting
  • May involve some extracurricular activities or parent meetings

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
