Brake Dyno Systems, Lead Test Engineer - 39589Rate: £32.77/hr UmbrellaDivision: Product EngineeringContract Position based at: University of Warwick (fully on site)Position Description:The individual will be technically outfacing and responsible for the day to day operation of the brake test facility, dealing with project planning and execution of test programs. You will be required to promote the facility at external events and work with the business team to develop the customer base both internally and with University partners, whilst promoting the test capability more widely within the industry to third parties.Essential Skills, Knowledge and ExperienceExperience in a mechanical test environmentExperience in programming of control and data acquisition systemsAbility to interpret and advise on data from a physical & mechanical perspectivePractical experience working in a physical test and validation environmentCapable of evaluating physical test data, drawing conclusions and being able to articulate to technical customer representativesPreferred:Experience in the technical evaluation specifically with reference to vehicle friction braking systems and characteristicsExperience in a friction brake test environmentUnderstands electronic integration into mechanical control systemsExperience technically taking the lead within a small team and own the team outcome at all levelsEducationEducated to degree level in a mechanical and or physics related subjectYour CV will be forwarded to Jonathan Lee Recruitment, a leading engineering and manufacturing recruitment consultancy established in 1978.
