I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Warwick who are seeking a Chassis Dyno Test Engineer to join their team

Job Description

As a Chassis DynoTest Engineer your main responsibilities are:

  • This role is based within the Clients' collaboration areas of Warwick University and supports both the University, Client and third Party activities.
  • You will be technically outfacing and responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Chassis Dynamometer test facility, dealing with project planning and execution of test programs.
  • You will be required to promote the facility at external events and work with the business team to develop the customer base both internally within the Client & University partners but also promote the test capability more widely within the industry to third parties.

Qualifications / Skills needed

  • Knowledge of combustion, hybrid and electric vehicle technology
  • Familiarity with chassis dynamometer systems, instrumentation, and data acquisition tools
  • Experience in Chassis Dynamometer Vehicle Emissions Test role is highly desirable
  • Capable of evaluating physical test data, drawing conclusions and being able to articulate to technical customer representatives
  • Perform pre-test vehicle inspections to ensure they meet test requirements
  • Experience in analysing emissions test results using specialized software tools
  • Experience in chassis dynamometer emissions tests on combustion, hybrid and electric vehicles
