I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Gaydon who are seeking a Brake Dyno Lead Test Engineer to join their team.

Job Description

As Brake Dyno Lead Test Engineer your main responsibilities are:

  • Experience in a mechanical test environment
  • Experience in programming of control and data acquisition systems
  • Ability to interpret and advise on data from a physical & mechanical perspective

Qualifications / Skills required

  • Practical experience working in a physical test and validation environment
  • Capable of evaluating physical test data, drawing conclusions and being able to articulate to technical customer representatives
  • Experience in a friction brake test environment
  • Educated to degree level in a mechanical and or physics related subject
  • Understands electronic integration into mechanical control systems
  • Experience technically taking the lead within a small team and own the team outcome at all levels
