Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play an integral role in delivering key management information and analysis and supporting the accounts payable and receivable functions. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and experience in providing high quality management information.
You will already have a good understanding of finance processes and controls and will be a proactive, technically strong individual, with previous experience in a similar role. Supporting the preparation of the group’s monthly management accounts, associated commentary and variance analysis
Supporting the preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Supporting our accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing and payments
Assist with preparation for our year-end audit
Assist with ad hoc project work as required by the business
Experience of reporting within a large company or plc environment desirable
Organisation and time management skills with ability to prioritise
Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel
