We are dedicated to helping our clients deliver an excellent experience to the members of their occupational pension schemes. This is an exciting opportunity to join Outsourcing UK as a Pensions Specialist within our Pension Administration function.
The job requires a motivated person who is experienced in taking responsibility and who can also independently deliver results on ad-hoc client specific projects.
The majority of our colleagues work in a ”hybrid” style, with a mix of remote, in-person and in-office interactions dependent on the needs of the team, role and clients. Our flexibility is rooted in trust and “hybrid” is not a one-size-fits-all solution
As a Pensions Specialist help the team to deliver and meet the client’s Reporting and compliance requirements.
Understand the links between data, calculations and multiple project streams.
Contribute to the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to increase end to end automation efficiencies and results with the aim of delivering operational self-sufficiency.
As a Pensions Specialist take a proactive interest for own continual learning and understanding of the business.
Help with defined projects working with colleagues across multiple functions to facilitate a successful outcome.
As a Pensions Specialist interact with the client and their advisors on complex and technical queries to understand their requirements and to clarify and document these.
Work with the Team/Team Leader to help improve operational efficiency and reduce costs e.g. automation, full use of standard procedures.
Help the team to run, contribute to, manage and monitor ad-hoc BAU projects, large and small, and assist the team to ensure the client reporting and compliance requirements are met and produced within agreed deadlines.
As a Pensions Specialist ensure client work is undertaken on time whilst adhering to our quality standards.
Fully engage with colleague training and development to assist the team’s performance.
Strong organizational abilities and flexibility to work in a team/virtual team environment working on multiple client priorities.
Take pride in your work with accuracy and adherence to a high level of quality being paramount.
Strong understanding on Pensions Schemes, legislations, regulations.
Experience of project based technical work in a client environment.
Ability to evaluation and manipulate data, deliver in agreed client format with a strong working knowledge of MS Excel whilst being open to learning modern technology and tools.
Improve knowledge and own technical skills through participation in online, instructor-led, or self-taught training.
