Within TxB, Financial Risk Engineering is a global team with presence in New York, London, Bengaluru, and Dallas. We are responsible for the technical design and development of systems that protect the firm and our clients from Financial Crime including real time Fraud prevention and compliance with global Sanctions and regulatory requirements, using existing and emerging technologies.
Your role includes specification, development, as well as the testing and roll-out of new features focusing on code quality, automation, testability and security. Services like liquidity analytics, billing, client onboarding, reporting and others will rely on the data platform. Accurate, granular, complete and timely data is a key differentiator and competitive advantage in the market.
We expect a successful candidate to have excellent communication skills, deliver high quality software and to be passionate about cutting edge data engineering. 
Collaborate with global cross functional team in building customer-centric products
Analyze existing software implementations to identify areas of improvement and provide deadline estimates for implementing new features
Establish trusted partnerships with peers, product heads, and executive level stakeholders
Exceptional analytical skills and ability to apply knowledge and experience in decision-making to arrive at creative and commercial solutions
2+ years of relevant professional experience using a modern programming language (preferably Java)
~ S. or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)
~ Comfort with Agile operating models (practical experience of Scrum / Kanban)
~ Experience with AWS
Experience in Financial Services or Fintech
Experience on Vendor integration projects
Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL/ Oracle)
