Our team is seeking a talented and experienced Risk Software Engineer specializing in building cryptocurrency risk systems using C#. We are looking for a dedicated, methodical, and versatile risk software engineer with the experience and passion to solve tough problems with scalable, high performance code.
As a Risk Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our cryptocurrency risk infrastructure. You will leverage your expertise in C# to create efficient and reliable solutions that enable seamless risk control experiences for our users. Design, implement, and maintain high-performance cryptocurrency risk system using C#.
Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of the risk infrastructure.
Work on our financial accounting reporting and ledgers, high-volume trade processing and reconciliations
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, frontend developers, and system architects, to understand requirements and deliver integrated solutions.
Identify and implement optimizations to enhance the performance and efficiency of risk APIs.
Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to best practices.
Implement and enforce security best practices to safeguard the integrity of the risk platform.
Create comprehensive and well-structured technical documentation for risk APIs, ensuring ease of use for internal and external developers.
Collaborate with other engineers, quants and traders to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to the risk system. Provide technical support as needed to ensure the smooth functioning of the trading platform.
Commitment to the highest ethical standards while working with sensitive data
Knowledge of forex and cross-asset trading fundamentals.
Understanding of risk management, portfolio accounting, securities clearing/settlement and regulatory compliance
Experience (personal or professional) working with crypto currencies, examples include: trading digital assets, using crypto platforms, and transferring coins on blockchain.
Experience in 3rd party software providers (Murex, Calypso, etc..)
Familiarity with cryptocurrency protocols, exchanges, and market data feeds.
Proficiency in C# and a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Previous experience working in a financial or fintech industry.
