Trust and Safety Advisor in Oxford, UK
Are you passionate about ensuring safety and security in online experiences and accommodations? We are currently seeking a Trust & Safety Advisor to join our team in Oxford. In this role, you will play a crucial part in upholding the integrity of our platform by validating new supplier accounts and providing support to customers regarding trust and safety issues. With a hybrid work arrangement, offering flexibility between remote and office work, and competitive pay at £13 per hour, this position offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to excel in customer support and contribute to enhancing our trust and safety protocols.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist with validation checks for new advertiser accounts.
  2. Investigate suppliers and bookings using customer-provided information.
  3. Analyze information to determine the legitimacy of suppliers/bookings and make justifiable decisions.
  4. Provide customer support via telephone calls and emails to assist with additional validation checks.
  5. Resolve issues arising from validation checks and provide clear feedback to customers.
  6. Investigate existing suppliers for suspicious behavior and evaluate associated risks.
  7. Utilize in-house tools to identify and address potential threats to the platform.
Qualifications:
  1. Must be able to work one weekend in every two.
  2. Prior experience in a Customer Service role is desirable.
  3. Experience in a research environment is advantageous.
  4. Proficient in using a PC; prior experience with Microsoft Office Software is desirable.
  5. Fluency in a second language (Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Italian) is desirable but not compulsory.
