Experienced EA support with at least eight years of experience, along with some marketing experience or a marketing qualification. Our client is a fantastic communications agency whose values have been created by the talented people that work for them. You will be supporting an extremely driven and passionate MD that is continuously thinking of innovative ways to change and drive and keep the business moving. This isn't a traditional EA role as they are looking for someone to work in more of a partnership and help drive & develop the business functions. This will require someone who is strong in personality and business focused at all times with excellent strategic planning.

The MD’s ‘right-hand person’, gatekeeper and first point of contact.

An experienced Senior Executive Assistant providing high-level support to the Managing Director ensuring the smooth operation of her daily activities and the efficient management of strategic initiatives. This critical role supports the MD with tasks such as scheduling, reviewing, prioritizing and project management, along with other important EA responsibilities that support the MD in delivering her role and aid the day-to-day running of the business. The EA is an experienced operator, results-driven and strategic. With a good understanding of business acumen, can progress and ensure momentum of new business opportunities brought in by the MD, such as preparing fee proposals and client liaison on behalf of the MD. This is a hybrid position that combines a senior EA with company-wide marketing support. The marketing element of the role reports to the MD working with Director of Strat Comms.

Strategic business planning:

  • Management of strategic business meetings (e.g. SMT, Business Planning Mtg), driving business objectives to ensure momentum, working collaboratively with senior management to streamline work processes
  • Standing in for the MD when necessary, acting as a liaison with other relevant parties
  • Making decisions autonomously, delegating and executing plans of action
  • Developing and implementing a ‘live’ agenda to keep track of workstreams and outputs
  • Compiling financial reports, preparing fee proposals for the MD.

Marketing responsibilities include:

  • Organizing events including research, logistics and event management process
  • Copywriting – drafting content relating to company
  • Maintaining our client database for mailings etc
  • Updating content on the company website
  • Provide support in preparing for award entries

EA responsibilities include:

  • Managing the MD's busy schedule, acting as gatekeeper, point of contact for general communication with MD, planning and scheduling meetings, making decisions on priorities, and attending to record minutes/actions when necessary (board meetings) and assisting with any personal admin support as required.
