An exciting opportunity for a Cover Supervisor to join a thriving and excellent secondary SEN school located in the London Borough of Islington. We are seeking an outstanding Cover Supervisor to join a team of experienced, creative and passionate teachers.
* Type of role: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only
* Required: ASAP
This is an excellent school for students 11-16 years old with social, emotional and mental health needs.
To supervise whole classes (small groups) during the short-term absence of teachers.
The primary focus of the role is to maintain good order and to keep pupils on task.
Cover Supervisors are not subject to a 'system of supervision' other than the general supervision applicable to all staff and act under the professional direction of teachers.
To undertake supervision of afterschool Homework clubs.
