Job Description
- Oversee and manage the transport planning team.
- Develop strategic transport plans to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Analyse and interpret transport data for strategic decision making.
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Promote a safety-first culture within the transport planning team.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of Transport Planning should have:
- A degree in Transport Planning, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team.
- Strong knowledge of the Transport & Distribution industry.
- Excellent strategic planning and decision-making skills.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret transport data.
- Have excellent working knowledge of Paragon (or similar tool)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
