Role Description
Join Our Team as a Female Support Worker
Location :Bicester, Oxfordshire
Salary: £12.49 per hour (£24,355 per annum) plus benefits: paid induction; overtime paid over 37.5 contracted hours
Hours: 37.5 Hours per week; 7.00am 2:30pm, 2.30 pm 10.00 pm (Monday to Sunday on a shift rota basis. Please note, the shifts may vary due to the needs of the people we support)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Essential Criteria
To be considered for this position, you will demonstrate exposure to two of the following areas of expertise:
  • Acquired Brain Injury
  • Stroke and other Physical Disabilities
  • Positive Behaviour Support

What will you be doing?
As a Female Support Worker, you'll be more than just their support you'll be a key part of someone's journey towards living their best life. Here's what you'll be doing:
  • Daily Care & Support: Helping with personal care, meal preparation, medication, and other daily tasks.
  • Building Relationships: Getting to know the people you support, understanding their needs, and helping them live life on their own terms.
  • Empowering Independence: Assisting with personal goals, from daily activities to long-term aspirations, and encouraging creative exploration.
  • Social Engagement: Supporting activities like holidays, social events, and hobbies, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to enjoy what they love.
  • Respect & Dignity: Ensuring that the individuals and their families are treated with the utmost respect, dignity, and equality.
Who you will be Supporting?
The team supports up to five people, who have a variety of health conditions from acquired brain injury, stroke and other physical disabilities. You will be supporting people with all aspects of life from personal care, cooking, cleaning, and day to day supporting people to live the life they choose.There are some people who have behaviours of concern, but you will be surrounded by a supportive team and will have training to be confident in providing the right support.

We specialise in supporting people who have learning disabilities, autism, complex needs, who may also have sight loss.
