Role responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement e-commerce strategies to drive online sales growth and enhance customer experience.
  • To oversee the management the company's website, including B2B/B2C online sales, product catalogue and digital content.
  • To collaborate with wider Sales and Marketing Department on market pricing and strategy, in relation digital sales.
  • Analyse website traffic and user behaviour to optimise conversion rates and improve overall performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between e-commerce operations and other business functions.
  • To lead and manage the E-Commerce and Marketing Team to achieve key objectives and a drive team growth.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and recommend new initiatives to enhance the company's online presence.
  • Oversee digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media advertising, and search engine optimisation (SEO).
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular reports to track the effectiveness of E-Commerce and Marketing initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors, agencies, and technology partners.
  • Report HSE issues to HSE and Facilities Manager.
  • Communicate Quality issues to the Quality Department.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and digital marketing channels.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks accordingly.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR) is desirable.
  • Ability and Openness to learn about new products relevant to the supply of Laboratory Equipment and Consumables.
  • Proven experience as an E-Commerce Manager, Marketing Manager or similar, preferably in the Laboratory or Life Sciences sector.
  • Strong understanding of E-commerce Platforms (e.g., Shopify) and online payment gateways.
  • Experience with SAP desirable, but not essential.
