Job Description

Title: Head of Cloud Platform

About theCompany:

About theRole:

The Head ofCloud Platform, serving as the Principal Infrastructure Engineer with a focuson Azure, will lead the design, implementation, and management of our Azurecloud infrastructure. This role requires a strategic leader capable of drivinginfrastructure innovations and optimizations to support scalability,reliability, and security of cloud services in alignment with organizationalgoals.

Requirements

KeyResponsibilities:

· Develop Azure cloudinfrastructure plan aligned with business goals.

· Optimize and scale Azureenvironments while managing costs.

· Design and deploy secure Azurecloud infrastructure architectures.

· Lead major infrastructureprojects including migrations and deployments.

· Ensure high availability andperformance of Azure infrastructure.

· Implement best practices forinfrastructure as code and monitoring.

· Lead and mentor cloudinfrastructure team, fostering innovation.

· Collaborate with IT andbusiness leaders to support business needs.

· Communicate technical solutionsto non-technical stakeholders.

· Oversee security and complianceof Azure infrastructure.

RequiredSkills and Qualifications:

· Deep technical knowledge innetwork architecture and data security specific to Azure.

· Experience with automationtools and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, ARM Templates).

· Proficiency in scriptinglanguages such as PowerShell or Python for automation and configuration.

Certifications:

· Certifications such asMicrosoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps EngineerExpert, or Azure Administrator Associate.

Experience:

· At least 15 years of experiencein IT infrastructure, with a minimum of 7 years focused on Azure cloudenvironments.

· Proven track record ofdesigning and leading large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly inAzure cloud deployments.

· Expert knowledge of Azure cloudservices and infrastructure components.

· Strong capability in managingand scaling complex cloud environments.

· Excellent leadership and teammanagement skills.

· Strategic thinking with theability to plan and execute long-term infrastructure goals.

· Strong communication andstakeholder management skills, capable of managing expectations and buildingconsensus.
