Job Summary:

We are witnessing exciting times in the SAP world, with more clients moving to the cloud. As we continue to grow, we need to invest in and further extend our capabilities and services to attract new customers in both the upper mid-market & lower enterprise space, as well as to better serve our existing customers' demands and requirements.

We are looking for a Pre Sales Solution Architect who ideally knows the SAP ByDesign and S/4HANA Public Cloud solutions and has end-to-end business process knowledge across multiple lines of business (ideally within Supply Chain and Logistics). Additionally, the role requires commercial awareness to support our Sales Team in all forms of client acquisition, with particular emphasis on solution definition and architecting, providing compelling solution overviews, RFP responses and software demonstrations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to support all aspects of client acquisition: Assist the sales team in acquiring significant new business in the SAP ByDesign and S/4HANA Public Cloud space by delivering a full picture architecture, insights, proposal responses, commercial estimates and other necessary activities throughout the customer acquisition process.
  • Deliver compelling solution overviews and software demonstrations with product expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of SAP ByDesign and S/4 HANA Public Cloud, with a strong passion for technology. Leverage your experience from previous ERP projects, whether as an end-user or consultant, showcasing technical expertise across multiple relevant business software products.
  • Define tailored solutions to meet client needs: Take ownership of solutioning by leading customer presentations and executing required proof of concepts to highlight the benefits of our solutions.
  • Customer First Mindset: Provide expert advice and assessment services to customers on their SAP ByDesign and S/4HANA Public Cloud journey at all stages of the customer engagement.
  • Understand Business Challenges: Consider the broader business context and specific challenges faced by customers within their industry or line of business when developing solutions, to better address the needs identified.
  • Technical Innovation and Trends: Stay informed about trends and new developments in SAP ByDesign, S/4 HANA Public Cloud and other products. Propose and clearly articulate the benefits of these innovations to customers.
  • Consult the customer on SAP Best Practice and SAP Activate: Staying engaged with the delivery & customer team through the engagement tenure and sharing expertise and advice on methodology, tools and governance for large projects and programs.

Travel %:

As required but likely 20-30% per week.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Core Skills & Competencies-

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP ByDesign and S/4HANA Public Cloud solutions.
  • SAP Presales certifications – ideal but not mandatory.
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP portfolio of products, architecture and experience across modules.
  • Extensive experience with business processes across various lines of business – ideally with a focus on Supply Chain and Logistics.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of market dynamics in order to qualify and manage deals appropriately.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Attention to detail to product high-quality and trust-worthy deliverables.

Soft Skills-

  • Must have excellent presales soft skills: excellent facilitation, presentation & personal communication skill sets.
  • Ability to build strong relationships at all levels within Customer & Prospects.
  • Ability to operate at a senior level within NDBS effectively liaising, influencing, and communicating at both director and exec level across all functions of the business.
  • Possess a high level of motivation and ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment with a high level of self-sufficiency.
  • Be capable of a taken a value-based approach to selling leveraging NDBS assets, resources, capabilities, and solutions.
  • Be able to confidently facilitate workshops and design thinking sessions to drive innovation and value for both customer and prospects.
  • Demonstrate a structured and professional approach to written and oral communication and presentation.
  • Excellent English language skills both written and verbal.
