We currently have an opportunity for a talented and experienced Communications Specialist to join our dynamic team based in Exeter. Joining us on a full-time permanentbasis , you will receive a competitive salary of circa £34,000 per annum (DOE) plus an excellent range of company benefits and rewards.
As the Communications Specialist , you will play an instrumental part in driving engagement and creative behaviour change campaigns that benefit our customers and the environment. You will support our customer communications across the business, promoting awareness and increasing the visibility of our services, whilst building strong engagement and loyalty with our customers.
The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder management experience working across the business, planning, briefing and delivering campaign through on and offline channels. If you are passionate about customer communications and are ready to work in a team that values innovation and public engagement, we would love to hear from you.
Practical understanding of online and offline channels..
Excellent communication skills to eloquently tell a story, translating a complicated business into understandable, concise messages verbally and in writing.
Sharp attention to detail for proof-reading and editing content
Manage communications for operational incidents and projects as part of an out of hours standby rota
Support the wider Communications Team as and when required
Experience of working in a customer communications environment managing and planning campaigns
Proven strong creative, presentation and communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of communication practices, tools and techniques across online and offline channels.
Highly capable influencer with a natural style that helps to drive positive culture and behaviours
