In this key role you will join their Senior Leadership Team, and be influential in spearheading revenue growth and expanding their client portfolio.
The Sales Director is responsible for all sales related activities, and championing customer excellence. The Sales Director is tasked with ensuring profitable business is secured in line with the overall organisational strategy, with the effective development of the sales team alongside indirect management and support from the marketing team.
* Creating, developing, and executing strategic plans to reach sales targets and expand the customer base in line with business objectives to provide a pipeline of opportunities and committed orders.
* Ensure effective sales monitoring is in place for all sales activity and ensure the business is capturing critical data in relation to conversion targets and market opportunities.
* Develop and implement standard sales operating practices and monitoring techniques in conjunction with direct reports.
* To work closely with Marketing to design and implement the organisations sales strategy. To support the Bid Team throughout the sales cycle.
You will have extensive key account management experience, able to implement a strategic account management programme, developing multiple relationships with individual clients while achieving growth.
* Experience of developing and delivering an ambitious commercial growth strategy.
* Experience of building, leading and inspiring teams, to drive towards a common goal.
* Commercial flair with local/regional business awareness across industry.
