Rate: £30.00 - £35.00p/h DOE (Limited Co. / Umbrella)

Shifts: days - Mon-Fri (37hrs)

Electrical / Industrial manufacturing / Aggregates / maintenance / machinery

I am recruiting exclusively for a key client based in High Peak. They are a leading UK manufacturer to the construction industry. They are looking for Maintenance Electrician, to assist with general maintenance work covering the whole site and plant operations, working on varied complex machinery.

Ae Maintenance Electrician, you will require to conduct the following duties:

  • Reactive maintenance as well as PPM's
  • Working on all electrical aspects of heavy plant machinery, capital equipment and materials handling
  • Conducting full fault find and repairs, safely
  • Repairing aspects such as Industrial control panels, PLC SCADA systems, circuits, 3 phase power, wiring, transformers, sensors, relays, PLC faults – inputs and outputs etc
  • Working safely is paramount, and make recommendations for improvements

The successful Maintenance Electrician will need to have the following attributes:

  • Electrical engineering apprenticeship qualified minimum to NVQ L3
  • Good experience with LEAN and Continuous Improvement principles
  • Strong Health and Safety awareness in an industrial heavy engineering environment
  • Able to work autonomously, with a ‘right first time' mentality
  • Experience within heavy industries, aggregates, mining, quarries etc
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills working alongside production staff and shift supervisors
  • Reliable, punctual, team player, and professional attitude
  • Require your own basic tools
