About the Role:


The Recruitment Co is thrilled to announce an opening for two proficient Electrical Maintenance Technicians to join a leading chemical organization operating across two facilities in Buxton.

This position is conveniently accessible from various surrounding areas.

Main Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will report to the Electrical Lead and be accountable for:

Executing plant maintenance, repairs, and enhancements to guarantee optimal reliability of all plant-related sectors.

Responding to plant malfunctions swiftly and effectively to reduce downtime, adhering to the maintenance schedule, and complying with legal and company Safety, Health, and Environmental standards.

Contributing to the ongoing enhancement of plant efficiency, safety, maintenance, and asset dependability.
Assisting in the internal development of the Computer Maintenance Management System.
Utilizing documentation and maintaining policies, procedures, and guidelines for safe and efficient equipment upkeep within the Electrical Engineering division.

Requirements:
Level 3 Apprentice trained Electrician with ONC/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering.
17th Edition - BS7671 I.E.E Regulations and Legislation as a minimum, with 18th Edition preferred.
Experience in TPM methodology and Continuous Improvement.
Working knowledge of relevant electrical and control engineering maintenance principles and practices in a heavy engineering sector.
Experience with Industrial Low Voltage power distribution systems.
Proficiency in PLCs and tools for software interrogation.
Knowledge of AC Drives and Motors operation.
Predictive Maintenance expertise.
Experience with Computer Maintenance Management Systems.
Familiarity with Root Cause Analysis and Failure Mode & Effect Analysis tools.
Understanding of database systems related to planned maintenance and logging shift activities.
Ability to design simple electrical systems, draw schematic diagrams, and perform electrical statutory tests and inspections.
Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics, and understanding of relevant codes and symbols.
Commitment to Health and Safety rules applicable to each department.
