Senior New Business Sales Consultant

Sales is about building a relationship, but it helps when you truly believe in what you are selling.
We are looking for a Senior New Business Sales Consultant with a strong background within the IT and Financial sector to help drive the success of our business forward.
The ideal candidate for this role will have at least 2-3 years’ sales experience and have a proven track record of the success within their previous IT sales roles . We are seeking somebody with a track record of hunter type sales positions.
You’ll target hedge funds, alternate investment and private equity firms in London with the aim to meet with their IT Managers, IT Directors, CTOs, CFOs and CEOs to sell our managed IT services to them. You’ll manage the full sales cycle. You’ll be calling prospects from a data list provided by us, setting up meetings, attending those meetings with technical staff, negotiating proposals, and closing the sale.
We would like to see a proven track record of dealing with a combination of:
- Prospecting
- Demos/virtual meetings
- Face to face meetings
- Creating and presenting proposals
- Negotiating price and terms
- Closing the sale
You’ll have a direct style, be persistent and engaging during the sales process, and consult and influence the prospect during their decision-making.
The team keeps in touch and in the loop, through:
- Daily team calls
- Roleplay sessions
- Call reviews
- IT training sessions
- One to One meetings with the Sales Manager
The office you’ll be based at our head office in Borden, a village between Sittingbourne and Maidstone in Kent. However, there will be a requirement to meet with potential clients in London and work out of our office in Mayfair a few days a week.
The benefits package consists of:
